About our packages
The staff at Mór Active have developed programmes that will provide your group with the opportunity to develop essential personal skills including teamwork, planning and decision-making. Situated within Kerry Geopark and close to Killarney National Park, Mór Active is in the ideal location for kids and teens to gain an understanding and respect for the environment and the factors that shape our countryside. Imagine these possibilities:
- Kayak to the ruins of a sunken castle and catch a glimpse of the elusive sea eagles flying overhead
- Test your skills with a raftbuilding competition on the banks of Lough Currane
- Bodyboard on the waves of the Atlantic
The Wilderness Adventurer - Killarney
This package is great for groups who want a genuine outdoor experience. The package is available for a half day (one activity), full day (1-2 activities), or 2-5 days (1-2 activities per day plus optional overnight camping). Choose from a huge variety of activities, many of which meet the needs of the National Curriculum Outdoor and Adventure Activities strand:
- Orienteering
- Overnight Camping and Campcraft
- Adventure Scrambles

- Abseiling
- River Walking
Half day(10am-1pm): €35 per person
Full day(10am-5pm): €50 per person
2-5 days: €39 per person/per day (extra €28 per person per night camping)

Optional Add-Ons: The prices above do not include food, accommodation or transport to Mór Active. Please contact us for our range of options from budget camping to hostels or reduced rate hotel accommodation. A range of meal packages is available from packed lunches to evening meals. For an additional cost, we can pick up and drop off your group from your centre.
The Wilderness Adventurer - Waterville
This package is the perfect option for large groups or groups who want a variety of activity options just at their fingertips. We provide a multitude of outdoor activities in one convenient location – our local Lough Currane and the surrounding woods. This package is available for a half day (one activity), full day (1-3 activities) or 2-5 days (1-3 activities per day, plus optional overnight camping on a lake island!) Activity choices include:
- Orienteering
- Overnight Camping and Campcraft
- Archery
- Kayaking
- Canoeing
- Raftbuilding
- Rock-climbing
- Abseiling
- Coasteering
Half day (10am-1pm): €30 per person
Full day (10am-5pm): €45 per person

Team Games Adventures
This is an affordable package that brings activities right to you. Here are some examples of games:
- Lake/Ocean Treasure – An energetic game in which teams compete against each other for the treasure. Each team member must canoe/kayak out to a treasure depot and retrieve a clue that will unlock the hidden treasure. Simple!!
- Lava Pit – Teams are given a scenario of standing at the edge of a lava slide and they must get from one side of the lava area to the other without touching the ground. They will use objects such as a long plank of wood, rope and other useful methods. Team work with a lot of fun.
- Walking Millipede - This is a fun game in which groups must work together as a team in order to move like a millipede. The group have two planks of wood with ropes attached to them and must move a certain distance without falling over.
- Human Knot - Standing in a circle, group members reach across and shake hands - use hand connecting to a different person. The group then tries to unravel the "human knot" by unthreading their bodies without letting go of each other people's hands.
- Parachute Ball -Groups must balance and move a ball around a parachute without letting it drop. Sounds simple but it involves a lot of coordination and fun.
